BeTreed was set up about 8 years ago for the purpose of protecting the wildlife and the nature around Phnom Thnout here.
In 2019 we founded a local NGO called Our Future Organization to better organize these efforts. We are still tiny but moving forward! Albeit slowly. We’ve had ups and downs given the current NGO funding crisis but so many private donors have stepped up – including so many Cambodians. This gives us much hope and energy to continue this important work.
We are still juggling the work of Our Future Organization with the tourism activities. And since we’ve always been very personally involved in hosting guests there may.. we’re still working things out. In short, we’d love to see you here!
